crafter documentary project

Betsy Greer of Craftivism (www.craftivism.com) is trying to put together an awesome project, I'm actually jealous I didn't think of it myself! Now that I know about her idea, I hope I can help get all of you interested! She intends to make a doc based on the artist/craft community by visiting us at our homes and workspaces and telling our stories and focusing on the common threads and the real life links, not just virtual links, between us. There are many incredible stories here and this project would show this more human side of our community by focusing on our lives in a way that isn't only consumer based. This part which IS the whole picture and the life blood of our work, but which we seldom have time to focus on (outside our "about me" pages) since we all are busy working on our craft to feed our families and earn a living. Three cheers to Betsy for showing the human/artist side to this amazing community of working women
