I still can't believe I live here...

Its been almost a year since I left new york for big sky country and I still feel like a tourist for the most part. My brother and dad came to texas from california, they've never been here before, so we did some really toristy things like visit the alamo in san antonio, and see the urban bat colony in austin, the largest urban bat poulation in the world lives right in downtown austin under a bridge. There are over a million bats in this town! Cool, keeps the mosquito poulation down and there are lots of sqeeters in texas. here are some photographic highlights-

I LOVE your pictures! Hey, Big Sky Country is Montana (ha!). Have you seen much Hill Country. I mean have you taken any scenic drives?

hey thanks, yeah I suppose montana is big sky country~but texas has some BIG sky too, no? hehehe
anyhow, yeah, we were in a cabin out in ingrim just west of kerrville in hill country for forth of july; so we did lots of scenic tours. it was so desolate, in some areas I was afraid the car would break down in 102* weather and we'd roast on the side of the road! luckily that didn't happen.
